Rancho Cucamonga Medical Office Building

Recently completed for healthcare provider Kaiser Permanente, the new 50,000 square foot Rancho Cucamonga Medical Office Building stands ready to service the needs of a growing community. Services to be provided by the MOB include pediatrics, OB-GYN, family medicine, radiology related services, as well as vision services. A pharmacy is also included in the building.

Frank Webb Architects designed the building to fit into its natural setting, a 9 acre vineyard surrounded by mountains. A 44 foot high wall covered with Indian "Raja" slate runs the length of the building, and large windows, skylights, and a high volume interior accent the environmental setting.

The MOB was erected by Hamilton Construction utilizing a "fast track" schedule and a guaranteed maximum price contract. The project team began working together at the inception of schematic design. The team was closely coordinated, and met with the client twice a week to obtain program input from departmental staff, administrators and facilities personnel. The project team fostered solid working relationships with the City of Rancho Cucamonga which assisted in the design review and approval process, and allowed the aggressive design and construction schedules to be met. Intelisyn provided preconstruction and construction management services on the project.

In February 2002, the City of Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission presented Intelisyn and the Project Team with an "Award of Excellence" for this project.
