Located in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, The Canterbury is a continued care retirement community, consisting of independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
The roofing project of this occupied facility started construction in June, 2002 and involved five (5) resident buildings and five (5) garage buildings. The project consisted of tear off and demolition of the old roof, installation of new sheet metal and flashing and reroofing of the buildings.
Intelisyn provided Project Management services for this project, coordinating with the facility and staff during the construction for purposes of sequencing of the work, staging of equipment, and maintaining a safe living environment for the residents of the facility. Intelisyn assisted in obtaining an independent roofing analysis of the building, preparing and issuing a bid package for the project, conducting bid walks and the preconstruction meetings.
