Claremont Manor Retirement Facility
This multi-phased 20 million dollar master plan project consisted of new residential apartments, a new Care Center, an addition to an existing Assisted Living Facility, and the construction of a new Wellness Center with pool area. The retirement campus remained open and accessible to all 150 residents during construction.
Modifications to residential units included the removal of 17 existing units, and the addition of 17 one-story, two bedroom cottages, with one two-story 14 unit apartment building. All multi-family building construction was wood framed, with exterior finishes consisting of plaster, brick and clay tile roofs.
The existing Assisted Living Unit "Lodge" houses 25 assisted living rooms in a two story structure. The facility remained intact in its previous configuration, with the exception of the stair towers, which were rebuilt. The building was remodeled with new finishes. A new two-story building with 18 rooms was connected to the existing facility centered about a shared community courtyard. The new facility also provides for dining and activity space, and an outpatient clinic area.
The existing 30 year old, 57 bed, 20,000 square foot Care Center was demolished, and replaced with a new 59 bed, 32,000 square foot Care Center. The new Center includes 9 private rooms, support spaces, dining areas, administration facilities, and a new therapy center.
Additionally, the site layout was revised for better pedestrian and vehicular circulation, and the site infrastructure upgraded in accordance to the planned development, including new electrical and telecommunications services, landscape and site lighting.
Intelisyn provided preconstruction and construction management services for the project. The total service duration was 36 months with a construction duration of 24 months.
